What is a Research?

Research is a creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the knowledge of specific subject or area. The goal of the study is to identify the concept or a solution of a situation that indicates the type of study to be Conducted. (Beckingham, 1974).

NOTE: THESE GUIDELINES ARE TO CONDUCT A BASIC LEVEL RESEARCH.

  1.  Title page of the Research- Include the research title, University, Year, Publisher, Name of the researcher.
  2. Declaration
  3. Dedication
  4. Acknowledgement
  5. Abstract- Simply this is summarizing the research into a one page. Include the title of the research, purpose of conducting the selected area, goal of the research, main objective of the research etc. It is a must to use keywords in this section of a research.
  6. Table of Content
  7. Table of Figures
  8. Abbreviations
  9. Chapter 1- INTRODUCTION (Note- The researcher can include more subtopics to be explain in each Chapter according to their preferences).
    1. Introduction of the selected topic.
    2. Scope of the research
    3. Justification of the Research
    4. Research Objective
    5. Research Questions
    6. Summary of the Chapter
  10. Chapter 2- BACKGROUND REVIEW/Literature Review
    1. Introduction to literature review
    2. Critical Review of Previous Studies (Make sure to use the researchers that have done previously or articles which have published by universities or recommended organizations).
    3. Other findings related to research topic
    4. Conceptual Framework of the the research
    5. Hypotheses
    6. Summary of the Chapter
  11. Chapter 3- RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
    1. Introduction to research Methodology (Explain Each)
    2. Data Collection Techniques
